NGU BASEBALL FALLS TO CATAWBA IN MAKE UP OF SNOW OUT

Salisbury, NC -- Derek Fulmer had a big day at the plate going 3-4 with four RBI’s for North Greenville, but Catawba scored five runs in the second and four in the third innings to guide the
Indians past the Crusaders 13-7 Monday afternoon at Newman Park.

Chad Drosieko (Easley, SC) and Rob Dobbins (Greenville, SC) also homered for NGU.  Dylan Fulk went 2-2 for NGU and Anthony Foulk was 2-4.

Down 1-0 in the second, Catawba’s Corey Parker tied the game with a double which started a five-run outburst. Query drew a walk to force home a run and McMillan singled home two runs. Derek Fulmer (Pelion, SC) pulled the Crusaders within 5-4 on a three-run homer in the third, but Catawba struck back with four runs, three on a bases clearing double by Query, to go on top 9-4.

North Greenville will resume its schedule Tuesday afternoon traveling to Mars Hill for a 3:00 p.m. contest.
