“It was another huge win over solid team,” said head coach Travis Henson. “It was a total team effort, I think our pitchers did a great job in tough spots, our defense was solid, and we found a way to score runs when we had to. The way we performed today is the sign of a solid team. We were able to come from behind to get the win using a lot of different people both offensively and defensively. More importantly is we found a way to win even though we weren’t playing our best baseball and I’m proud of the team.”
The Crusaders will take Thursday off before opening a three game series with Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Friday.
