After falling short of the NCCAA South Regional Title less than a week ago, the North Greenville baseball team figured their season was over, but Saturday night head coach Travis Henson received news that his Crusaders have earned an At Large bid to the NCCAA World Series and an opportunity to defend their national title one exactly one year ago.

The Crusaders will enter the tournament as the #6 seed and will open tournament play on Wednesday against the third seeded Mt. Vernon Nazarene. This year’s tournament will be pool play. The ten teams vying for a National title will be split into Pool A and Pool B and each team will participate in at least four games. The Championship will be a best of three series with one game on Friday and a possible double header on Saturday.

As always fans will be able to follow the action in different ways. Each game will be webcasted live on the North Greenville Sports Network. Inning by inning updates can also be found on Twitter. Jason Patterson, the voice of the Crusaders will update his blog everyday. The links to for twitter and live video are posted below. Also posted below are links provided by Prasco (tournament host) which allow fans to follow the action of every game including scores, stats, and other information on individual teams.
