Men's Golf Struggles In LMU Fall Invitational Second Round

Pineville, KY – After a strong first round, the North Greenville men’s golf team faltered and finished 12th in the Lincoln Memorial University Fall Inivitational.
As a team, the Crusaders shot a two-day total 300-310-610 to finish tied for 12th with Walters State Community College, 31 shots back of tournament team champion King College.
In the individual standings, Josh O’Neal continued his consistent play and finished with a total score of 73-75-148 to tie for 15th, 11 shots behind individual champion Kim Koivu of Brevard College.
Freshman Tucker MacDonald improved his score from the first round of play to finish tied for 32nd with a two-round total of 77-74-151, while Danny Dippel struggled in the second round of play and finished tied for 47th with a total score of 72-82-154. Chancen Blackwood had back-to-back rounds of 79-79-158 to finish tied for 61st.
The Crusaders final match of the season will be in Panama City Beach, FL in the NCCAA National Championship on Oct. 24-26.
