WOMEN'S GOLF SLIPS TO 6TH PLACE FINISH IN NCCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

Panama City Beach, FL – After finishing day one of the NCCAA Championship in fourth place, the Lady Crusader golf team slipped a few spots to finish the tournament in sixth place with a team score of 340-365(705).


North Greenville finished 63 shots back of team champion Dallas Baptist, which finished the tournament with an outstanding 325-317(642) team score.


In the individual standings, Anna Padgett shot a two-day total 86-85(171) to finish in 11th place overall. Denise Shirley recorded another Top 20 finish with a total score of 82-93(175), while Taylor Threatt finished in 23rd with a score of 83-93(176).


Anna Dibert (183) tied for 26th and Regan Ouzts (200) finished 39th to round out the individual scoring for North Greenville.


The Lady Crusaders finish the 2011 season having recorded five Top 10 finishes as a team in five total matches.
