Senior Nate Richards closed the day out for the Crusaders pitching the ninth inning, retiring all three batters.

The Crusaders struck first in the first inning, scoring four runs on 3 hits. Freshman Allen Staton picked up his first career hit and first career RBI in the first inning, on a line drive single to center field.

Adam Taylor, Derek Fulmer, and Andrew Lawrence all tallied one hit and two RBI’s, while Fulmer scored twice.

The Crusaders have little time to rest. They will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon, with a 2pm matchup with Emmanuel College, of Franklin Springs, Georgia.
