WOMEN'S TENNIS TEAM PICKS UP FIRST WIN OF 2012

Tigerville, S.C. —The North Greenville women’s
team added its first checkmark to the win column on Friday afternoon, as they
swept the Spartanburg Methodist Pioneers 6-0 to open a two match weekend home
stand.
The Crusaders had three ladies pickup their first singles win of the season, including Aline Ribeiro, Haley Hardwick, and Mariana Vick. Cassie Curtis registered her second singles win of the season.
The doubles team of Aline Ribeiro/Muriel Mendonca Abid, scored their first doubles win of the season, as did the team of Rebecca Beacham and Victoria Gomez.
The Crusaders are now 1-2 on the season after Friday’s win. They will head into Saturday’s match with Barton looking to even up their conference record at 1-1.
