CHRISTINA CARLIS GRABS ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM HONORS

Highpoint, N.C.—Christina Carlis, North Greenville’s senior point guard and all time career assists leader, added another award to her resume Sunday when she was named to the 2012 Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team.

In NGU’s two tournament games, Carlis averaged 14 points and 5 assists. For the season, Carlis averaged 11.7 points per game while dishing out 121 assists. She will look to help her team advance to the NCCAA national tournament on Tuesday whe the Crusaders play in the South Regional Tournament championship in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
