Coach Brad Caldwell is entering his 2nd year as Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Golf Team’s. He will be involved in all aspects of the program including administration, recruiting, player development, and on the course coaching.

Coach Caldwell is from Waynesville, NC and returns to his Alma Mater of NGU, where he was a graduate in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management.

Coach Caldwell was a 4 year letterman for the golf team and is arguably one of the greatest athletes to come thru the North Greenville Athletic Program. He is one of only two other athletes to come thru the athletic department and be a NCAA All-American. Coach Caldwell was a 2010 NCAA Ping All-American voted on by the Golf Coaches Association of America, a 2010 Unanimous NCAA All- Southeast Region Team Selection, a 2008 & 2010 NCCAA All American, led his team to a 2007 NCAA Southeast Super Regional Berth, and earned a unanimous individual selection to the 2010 NCAA Southeast Super Regional, and also led his team to a school record ranking of 20th in the country in spring of 2010. Coach Caldwell holds most all of the individual records at NGU including; Most Tournament Victories (5), Most All- Tournament Finishes (13), Season Scoring Average (71.25).

Coach Caldwell also competes regularly on the professional level on the eGolf Professional Tour, NGA Professional Tour, Carolinas Professional Golf Tour, Carolina Mountain Tour, Peach State Pro Tour, as well as Monday Qualifiers for the Web.com Tour and PGA Tour.

Coach Caldwell brings a wealth of knowledge of the golf swing and competitive playing experience to the program. He has worked with and under PGA Class-A Professional Duane Page of Laurel Ridge Country Club in Waynesville, NC, and he has also been instructed by some of the top professionals in the game today.

Coach Caldwell was born September 16th, 1988 in Asheville, NC. His sister Lauren (21) plays collegiately at Lenoir-Ryhne University. He is a graduate of Tuscola High School in Waynesville, NC where he was the co-captain of the soccer, basketball, as well as the men’s golf team who won the NCHSAA 3-A State Championships in 2006.
